Ask the Herbalist

Q: Is this safe for postpartum?

A: YES! It's a wonderfully rehydrating and nutritive blend that can be drunk throughout pregnancy and postpartum. But if you are after lactation support we reccomend using our specific lactation infusion tea blend.

Q: Is this tea safe for babies?

A: We recommend not giving babies herbal tea until they are able to start to drinking water. And as Boob To Food recommends "If your child is over 6 months of age, you can start to offer them small sips of water, but still their primary hydration should come from milk feeds.

Herbal teas that are safe for babies in very small amounts include: chamomile, rooibos, peppermint, fennel, catnip.

A great way to get the benefits of herbal tea into our babies tummies, who have started on solids, is by making gummies! You can find one one of our easy recipes here
